All of my adults come with a two year supply of heartworm medication.  I do this to ensure they are continued on heartworm prevention.  If you were to purchase heartworm medication at your vet's office, it would cost you about $120 for a two year supply depending on the brand you choose.
I can also teach you how to treat for fleas and ticks for about $3 a month by deviding a tube of Advantix for large dogs and getting about 5 doses out of it.

PUPPYMILLERS WILL LET A LITTLE MOMMA DIE FROM A RUPTURED UTERUS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT BEFORE THEY WOULD SPEND  $1,350 AT THE
EMERGENCY VET, ESPECIALLY IF SHE WERE OLDER AND THEY HAD ANOTHER MOTHER TO PUT THE BABIES THAT SURVIVED WITH.
PUPPYMILLERS ARE SICK PEOPLE THAT DO NOT CARE ABOUT DOGS.  I AM FAR FROM THAT.  I LOVE DOGS MORE THAN PEOPLE.
I WOULD SPEND AND HAVE SPENT MORE MONEY THAN THAT ON A DOG I HAVE NEVER MET AND PICKED UP ON  THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AFTER SOME JERK HIT HIM/HER AND JUST KEEP DRIVING.
THERE ARE DISGUSTING PEOPLE OUT THERE LIKE THAT, AND SOME OF THEM BREED DOGS.  THEY ARE CALLED PUPPYMILLERS.  PLEASE DO NOT INSULT ME AND ASK ME WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT.
INSTEAD, POINT TO A DOG.  ASK ME TO CALL THAT DOG BY HIS/HER NAME AND GET HIM/HER.  THEN ASK ME TO OPEN THEIR MOUTH AND TAKE A LOOK AT THEIR TEETH.  I GUARANTEE THEY HAVE CLEAN TEETH
UNLIKE POOR PUPPYMILL DOGS WHO HAVE A MOUTH FULL OF ROTTEN TEETH THAT IS CAUSING INFECTION IN THEIR BLOOD WHICH IS LEADING TO HEART DISEASE, OR KIDNEY DISEASE WHICH CUTS THEIR LIFE SPAN
BY ABOUT 6 YEARS.  THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT HOW LONG THEY LIVE BECAUSE THEIR UTERUSES TO NOT LAST BUT ABOUT 10 YEARS ANYHOW. LOOK IT UP.  DENTAL DISEASE IS A HUGE KILLER.
PUPPYMILLERS DO MOT CARE.  ALL THEY CARE ABOUT ARE  HEALTHY UTERUSES.  EYE INFECTIONS GO UNTREATED.  EYES FALL OUT, AND THE LIST GOES ON.

IMPORTANT POINT: My guarantee states that you can KEEP your puppy if a problem comes up. It does not state like all the other guarantees I have read, that you have to exchange the puppy for another one. I think that is just a way for the breeder to get out of his/her end of the guarantee. Who would give up their puppy that needs medical attention after potty training him/her and making him/her a part of the family to a breeder that will most likely put him/her to sleep? Most people will not, and they never get to collect on the health guarantee. This is exactly why the breeder puts EXCHANGE in the paperwork and not keep the puppy AND get another puppy. Since I breed out genetic problems, can offer this type of a guarantee. Breeders that keep breeding genetic problems need protection. They never have to pay, and therefore, never fix the genetic problem lines. This equals bad news for the future puppies and the future puppy owners. If the breeder you decide on words their contract with replace, make them REPLACE it with keep and replace.  My moto is the puppy is happy first,, then the customer, and I am happy last.  That is how I do business.  Money is just a piece of paper.  A dog's health is everything to him/her, and I respect that.  If the problem is serious, which it should not be since I have been doing this for a long time and have bred out problems, but if it is, I NEVER choose to put the puppy or dog down if the problem can be fixedl.  If I go in debt, I go in debt, but at least, I can sleep at night.  I will go in debt for a stray I find on the side of the road, and certinaly will not turn my back on a baby I bred.  I am not a perfect angel by no means, but I am a crazy dog lover.  I just think they are all so special, even the mean ones.  I have never met a dog I did not like or would not help.  This is why I  live in a modest home.  I actually lost my nice home because I  would spend money on my dogs rather than pay the morgage,.  True story.  I would be behind on my morgage and help a stray dog.  Now, I live in a paid for simple home and have money to pay for propert care of my dogs and other dogs.  Some give money to churches or to charity.  I take mine and spend it directly on dogs .  As soon as I get ahead after being behind financially, I am bringing dogs in for dentals etc.  My babies come first.  I have no children.  They are my children.  People ask me if you love them so much, how can you retire them and trust them in new homes.  I do this becuase I have to in order to run a sucessiful business.  If I were to keep all my retirees, I would be financially unable to properly address their medical needs as they age, and I would go out of business.  I keep up with them while I have them and place them in loving homes.  I put all this information on my website to turn off 90% of the people that visit it.  I want them to go away and not contact me.  If you call me, I always ask if you have visited my website, and send you there if you have not.  I do this to make you hate me if you are not a true dog person.  I only want dog crazy people like myself to buy my puppies or retired adults.  This is my way of weeding out people that really do not love dogs like they should and should not have dogs.  Their health is just as important as your health is.  They only have one life just like you do and cannot fend for themselves.  If you do not get it, there are plenty of non crazy people out there that you can buy a puppy from.   I do not want to even waste my time taling to you on the phone if you are not a dog freak. Sorry, but that is how I am.  I guess my motive might be kind of selfish because I kind of do it to not have to bother with non dog people wanting a puppy.  There are a lot of you out there, and I just do n ot have time for you.  If you contact me and let me know that you have read the information on my website, I will bond with you because I know that you appriciate my crazyness.  I love dog people.  You know.  The kind of people that visit and do not care if they get dog hair on them or if a sweet dog nips their hand because they do not know you and you were careless enough to put your hands through the fencs as they were barking at you.  I just love those type of people.  You are the person I want to call me about one of my puppies.  I know that you will not end up selling your puppy in the paper because he/she has soiled your carpet.  You will get tile if your carpet gets too dirty because your baby has issues and you do not care.  That is what I am talking about.  
Someone that loves unconditionally.  True dog people rock.  I know them when I meet them and love letting my puppies and retired adults go to their loving hands.   So sorry about my excessive writing and rambling on.  It really is necessary to protect my babies that I love so much.  A good home and a bad home are such a big deal to that one individual.  It really is.  They have feelings and needs and are so easy to abuse, poor babies, and shame on you if you are one of the many abusers out there.  Do you realise that when you go to work and leave them in a crate all day, they are bored stiff.  They have short little lives and should not be bored like that.  Here I go again rambling on.  Sorry. I just get so mad.   Oh, and one more thing: If you bought your puppy elsewhere and need advise, please do not call me.  I will be rude,  especially if you want advise about breeding or whelping puppies.  Although I love dogs and puppies and  want to help deep down inside, I will end up telling you to consult with your back yard breeder, puppy miller,  or your vet.  I say back yard breeder and puppy miller because  I assume that is where you got your dog or puppy from.   Otherwise, you would be calling your breeder and not me.  Since that is the case, I will not help you on the phone because I would be helping you contribute to the support of such people. In other words, call the pet shop that you got your puppy from and tell them you want the number of the nice little old lady that she lied to you about that bred your puppy.  Get their advise, not mine.  See if the pet shop can give you their number, probably not because huge livestock type puppymill places do not talk to the public much.  They do not have to deal with the public.  They let the pet shops do it. They are too busy at the mall spending their money since they do not spend it on their dogs.   I also get too many phone calls like this and have to draw the line.  People do not even consider the fact that cell phone use is unhealthy, and I use it enough as it is.  CALL YOUR DAM BREEDER, NOT ME PLEASE!  I do not like getting rude with people who are in need of help, but I will not assist you.

8 pound AKC Chloe was born on 6/23/03, is in excellent health and has certified good knees She is leash trained, spayed, and I have always kept her teeth clean.
Chloe is a real sweet heart and is pee pee pad trained.
AKC $100 Chloe is sweet as sugar and has never even grawled, but in the past, some of my sweetest ones have actually
bitten people on the first day once they get to their new home because of fear. If you cannot deal with this at first, do not get one of my retirees. They need to go only with real dog people, not someone that really wants a puppy. I am being straight up: older chihuahuas
need time and patience, but once they come around, the rewards are well worth it.
I actually think older chihuahuas are cuter than puppies. They just are to me.
Please note: On any of my lower priced or free older dogs like this, I will require a vet reference. I want to be able to call and talk to someone there about a dog you had in the past or currently have. I do not mind giving you a dog for this price or for free if you can prove to me that you will provide him/her with a great home. This means proper medical care like keeping them vaccinated and on heartworm medication. It also means getting their teeth cleaned at least once every 3 years. If you cannot do this, do not contact me about this dog. I will check you out and cannot do it when the vet is closed. It would have to be when they are open.

Puppy Buyers Beware of Scams Like This One!


I was contacted in the past from a person that noticed my dog Monet was being represented as the mother of some puppies for sale in Chicago. Since the guy knew this was not the alledged breeder in Chicago's dog, he played along with the alledged breeder to investigate what was going on. The person would only accept Western Union as a form of payment. The address he provided was to a University in Chicago. Once I found all this out, I went to the website that was advertising the puppies to find the alledged breeder and contact him myself. I already had feelings that site had a lot of puppymill dogs on it like many sites like that do, but had no idea that they also had fraud on that site. The alledged breeder sent me a picture of my dog Monet and told me that was the mother of his puppies! I was outraged to see my beautiful Monet being represented in such a way. I keep on writing him, and he also told me the only form of payment he accepted was Western Union. I contacted Western Union. They flaged his name because there was another complaint against him that was pending. The lady sent him $1,000 and never got a puppy. All he has to do is get a fake ID, and continue doing this. I contacted the owner of the website, but he did not respond back or take his ad off. To make a long story short, be very weary of who you send money to. There are many scams out there. There are also many puppymills out there abusing dogs like mad. Check out your breeder. If they take credit cards or Paypal, that is a good sign. You can reverse charges if you are cheated. At least, you know they are not one of those Western Union people. They may still be a puppymill though so still investigate! Keep in mind that a lot of great breeders do not accept credit cards. I am not saying you have to accept credit cards or Paypal to be a good breeder. It just proves that you are a true business. Small breeders, for instance, cannot afford the expenses associated with dealing with credit card merchant services. Just be careful. Note: I have now been contacted at least a dozen times about my pictures being used by scam artists on websites that offer a lot of puppymill puppies on it.

If They Start Talking About How AKC or The USDA Was Just There And They Passed Inspection, RUN. That is a Sure Sign They Are a Puppymill. Puppymills Love to Throw That Line at the Public to Get Them off Track. Inspections Mean Nothing! The AKC and The USDA Are Mostly Concerned With Paperwork, Not Conditions. The USDA, For Instance, Only Requires 6 Inches of Space Pre Dog Per Side. That Is Horrific! If it sounds like I am down on the USDA, I am and with good reason.

The Public Needs to Start Looking Down on People That Support Puppymills and Pet Shops! Chihuahuas Are Especially Abused And Easy to Confine in Rabbit Cages and Crates! Please Do Not Think That I Think All Breeders But Myself Are Puppymills. Some Breeders Treat Their Dogs Even Better Than I Treat Mine. I just Mention Puppymills So Much Because I Have Seen a Few in Person, And Absolutly, Without Question, HATE (Yes, I Did Say and Mean HATE) The Humans That Run Them! Also beware of people that have anti puppymill statements all over their site. This does not mean they are not a puppymill. I know of a lady whose site location says she is located in New Hampshire and Massachusetts that has 30 dachshunds in crates in a bedroom. Just imagine how many chihuahuas she could stack in crates in her bedroom. It is truly repulsive to think about it. Her site is VERY anti puppymill, and that is exactly what she is. She was reciently arrested, but is still in business. Her site says she is active in fighting puppymills just to throw people off. CHECK BREEDERS OUT!!!!!!
Call their vets. Do not as general questions like "Is this person a good breeder?" Of course, the vet will have to say yes. Be specific. Ask if they spay and neuter their adults or if they bring their dogs in for dentals. There is a huge puppymill in south Florida (Penbrook Pines) that claims they sell to celebrities and movie stars. They decorate their puppies in all kinds of outfits and bows in the pictures, but they all come from adults that are treated in the WORST possible way. This place is very popular on the web because of how effective their advertising is. Buying from them puts money in some of the most disgusting humans on this earth that probably hate dogs. At least, they sure do treat them like they hate them.

Everyone that has dogs and has a pool needs a Scamper Ramp. I love mine. It even saves frogs and bugs which saves me from always trying to save them. It use to drive me nutts, but no more dead frogs and a lot less dead bugs are in my pool now. I am a Scamper Ramp distributer now. If you want one shipped to you, I can ship them for $4.95. The price of the small ramp is $49.95, and the price for the large dog ramp (65 pounds and up) is $69.95. 6% sales tax applies in Florida, and 3% applies if you use Paypal. If you come to my home to get one, you can see it being used in my pool.

At Uey's, all our dogs are provided with the best of everything. Even if you do not physically visit a kennel prior to buying, pretend like you are on the phone and ask how the adults are housed. If they focus on the puppies and avoid talking about the adults, this is a very bad sign. Insist that you want to know how the parents of the puppies live, and you do not want to drive all the way there just to turn back around. If they do not have positive things to say and try to meet you half way, they are very likely abusing their dogs. If a breeder does not care about their dogs, they do not care about your puppy. There is a very good posibility your puppy may develop genetic problems or be sick. Stay away from puppymills. Let the buyer beware!
